Rattan Furniture Fairy Reviews

A company's true colors show when things go south, and sadly, this one misses the mark completely.

Back in 2018, we bought a Maze Rattan 6 Seater Table and Chairs, which is now priced around £2000. It was advertised as top-notch quality, the best of luxury, weather-resistant, and needing just a simple wipe-down every now and then. Plus, it came with a 5-year warranty for extra reassurance.

However, this summer, we noticed some serious wear and tear in the rattan weave under the glass top. The heat caused the strands to crack and snap, which was a real gut punch considering the money we spent. You'd think a big-ticket item like this would last longer than four years.

We thought we could rely on the warranty, but David washed his hands of it, saying it only covers the structure, which he defined as the aluminum frame. The warranty terms seem to have changed since we made our purchase, and the specifics were nowhere to be found when we bought it.

He did offer us replacement weave to fix the table, but with the ongoing damage and us not being experts, we turned it down. After that, communication from him just stopped, even though we had proof of their claims about the set being high quality and weatherproof. We also had screenshots of the original ad and updates to the website since our purchase, along with our rights under the Consumer Rights Act regarding quality and durability. It’s just shameful.

So here’s the deal: if you’re willing to shell out a premium for garden furniture that’s poorly made and comes with a flimsy warranty, you might as well go for a Maze Rattan set from Rattan Furniture Fairy. Or, you could save a ton and grab a set from B&M for a fraction of the cost, knowing you’ll probably have to replace it every year but still come out ahead financially.

It just doesn’t feel right to pay for what’s marketed as high quality and end up with junk.

I just picked up the Cambridge daybed from Rattan Furniture Fairy. The quality is a whole different ball game compared to my old furniture. The weave appears way nicer than what I saw in the photos, and those cushions? Super comfy! Happy customer here!

The delivery arrived right on schedule, despite the long wait times we’ve seen during the pandemic. I had a solid after-sales experience since I ran into a few issues with the Maze furniture. David and his crew communicated with them and sorted everything out for me.

I’d definitely suggest Rattan Furniture Fairy. The items arrived in great shape. Delivery was done with professionalism. Given the pandemic, the Suez Canal situation, and the high demand for garden furniture, a longer wait was understandable. But honestly, the furniture was totally worth it. It’s way better than what you usually find out there.

Back in 2019, I got myself the Maze Rattan Texas 8 seater dining set, and it’s been fantastic. However, this year, the lazy susan got damaged in a storm, so we had to find a new one.

We reached out to Rattan Fairy, and David was super helpful in sorting out a replacement for us. It came well packed, and the dining set looks awesome again.

We pre-ordered the ’MAZE RATTAN VENICE SOFA DINING SET WITH ICE BUCKET & RISING TABLE’ and we’re totally in love with it! The quality is superb and it arrived right on schedule. We spent ages looking for the ideal piece for our garden, and this one has really hit the mark. We did run into a small hiccup with one of the parts that got sent (it happens), but the way they handled the situation was just outstanding and super quick. Honestly, the great customer service we received more than makes up for the little mix-up, which is why I even brought it up.

Seville Sofa Set by Maze Rattan - I’m totally in love with my new set! The delivery took a bit longer than expected, but considering the pandemic situation, David managed my order like a pro and was super helpful with all my queries. I’d surely purchase from them again. I got the Maze Rattan Henley Corner Sofa Dining Set with a rising table back in March, expecting it to show up by late April. David kept me in the loop the whole time, which was great. Honestly, I couldn't be more pleased with what we bought. It did arrive a little later than promised (on 18/05/21), but hey, I get that these delays can happen because of Covid. We placed our order at just the right moment.

I bought an Oxford maze sofa and table set at the end of March, expecting it to arrive by late April. I was a bit anxious about its availability. On April 25th, I received an email from David letting me know it was on its way, but there was a hiccup due to strong winds at Felixstowe. Anyway, it showed up yesterday, and honestly, I think that’s pretty decent given the current demand for outdoor furniture. The quality of the furniture is excellent, and I can't wait to start using it.

To be honest, I had my doubts about making a purchase since I usually look at Trustpilot, but there were only a handful of reviews. Turns out, I was completely wrong to be hesitant. David provides outstanding customer service. I ordered a day bed set, and it arrived in just 7 days, delivered by a two-man crew who placed it right in my garden for me. It came pre-assembled (thank goodness! :) ) and the quality is truly remarkable. I've already told my family about it. YOU WON'T BE LET DOWN :)

We got the Maze Rattan Oxford casual dining set along with a rain cover. From the get-go, the communication was excellent, and it arrived in just 10 days. We were thrilled with the set, so we went ahead and ordered the umbrella to match. Once again, the communication was top-notch, both from David and the delivery teams.
